I have known Craig since 2017 when I met him at the New Jersey Elks Peer Leadership Conference weekend.He is an amazing speaker, who captures the attention of teens and  making his seminars and workshops so comfortable and safe for these teens to feel surrounded by love and be able to talk about their fears and challenges without being judged. Craig has a unique way of connecting with these teens and his workshops are always filled to capacity. Seeing how different of a speaker Craig was, I made it my mission to bring him to my hometown of Dumont. It was an unforgettable night for both teens and their parents alike. The topic was “You Are Never Alone”  Craig has an innate ability to empower young people/teens, reminding them they are not alone in the challenges they face in life.  Some of the teenagers who were present, and who I never thought would speak in front of an audience, stood up and spoke about their challenges in life. In just a quick hour, Craig shares his story and then turns it over to others to share theirs. I am hoping to have Craig back in the very near future to speak with our youth again because there is simply no one like him.

Craig Jandoli is a dynamic and engaging speaker, who resonates well with audiences of all ages. His talks are interactive and lively, rooted in Christ in a way that is relatable and real. He set the tone for our undergraduate retreat, helping college students reflect on what it means to surrender to God and live a life of faith. Craig's testimony is incredible; he trusted in God when everything in life was against him. He tells the inspiring story of how, even in his lowest moments, God did not abandon him. We are grateful to Craig for being a witness to us, and would recommend him as a speaker to anyone! He is a man living out his baptismal call in the world, who loves everyone he encounters with the love of Christ.

After seeing him multiple times at the annual ELKS Leadership Conference, students begged for him to come to Westfield High School. He did not disappoint.  He is a dynamic speaker who has an innate ability to get young people to open up and be vulnerable. Throughout his presentation, he had them laughing, crying, reflecting, writing, clapping, chanting, sharing, supporting and connecting with one another.  In his own words he, “took them on an emotional rollercoaster”.  If you are expecting your typical guest speaker who kids forget about when the assembly is over, that won’t happen when you bring Craig Jandoli to speak. Craig is an energetic and engaging speaker. He knows how to get all ages listening and engaged with his jokes and stories, yet still gets a serious message across. For example, he may be standing on chairs or throwing water, but at the end of each year I have had both candidates and adult mentors tearing up because of how touched they were by the message and how it relates to their lives. Every year we bring him back to speak to our Confirmation candidates and every year, everyone who listens to  him gets something out of it. I have had many candidates come up to me at the end and say how his talk has made them want to be a better person and have a better relationship with God. It is very rare to find a speaker that is so impactful that you can keep bringing him back each year to speak to a new audience. We have found such a speaker in Craig. His faith is truly authentic and he invites people both young and old to have that same type of relationship with God.

I have been lucky enough to serve the young people of Paramus for over 20 years. During that time, I have gotten to know Craig Jandoli very well. We are both teachers in local schools and have worked together on retreats and various activities for the young people of our church community.
